Aim
To train personnel in the duties of a Fire Warden

Objectives
Action to take on discovering a fire
Raising an alarm and following company fire procedures
Liasing with the Fire Brigade
Evacuation procedures
Identification & use of appropriate fire extinguishers
Use of escape routes and emergency doors
Control of fire spread by use of the fire extinguishers and fire door
Evacuation of disabled people
Fire prevention by good house-keeping and regular fire inspections
Use of fire prevention/control equipment in high-risk areas (kitchen/boiler rooms etc.)
Fire prevention at petrol stations (control of spillage,ventilation, house-keeping, smoking and        use of radio/signal equipment)
Record keeping
