Objectives
This program is intended for inexperienced / novice instructors who wish to obtain registration and certification under the ITSSAR accreditation scheme by means of a New entry.
At the conclusion of this course, successful instructors or instructor/examiners will have satisfactorily completed the various practical assessments and multi choice theoretical papers required by ITSSAR (Independent Training Standards Scheme & Register) as the entry standards for accreditation as a lift truck /industrial lift truck instructor/examiner on the ITSSAR national register of accredited instructors.

Course Content
Candidate pre assessment and briefing including operator test to instructor level
Basic instructional techniques
Roles and responsibilities of an instructor
Health and safety at work act 1974 etc including ACOP L117, PUWER 1998 and LOLER 1998.
Session planning and delivery
Certificate & Validation
Successful candidates will be entered on the ITSSAR register of Accredited Instructors, registration and certification being valid for a period of five years
